What are solar lights?

Solar lights are a lighting option that is powered by the sun, making them an environmentally sound option and therefore, more cost effective. Solar lights will either have a separate solar panel that connects to the lights or they will have a solar panel built into the light itself. Generally speaking, the panel will need roughly six hours of sun per day depending on the usage. Solar lights come in many different varieties, from motion activated solar lights, decorative solar lights or solar lights for security. How do Solar lights work?

Solar lights utilize a solar cell to that can absorb energy from sunlight that comes into direct contact with it, this cell powers a built-in battery, which charges automatically during daylight hours (between dawn and dusk).

Solar Garden Globe Light 

Starting with one of our personal favorites, the Solar Garden Globe Light. We love this one for its versatility and its ability to elevate the look of any outdoor area! This one has been designed to be used on a lawn area using the included in-ground spike, or, hung like a pendant from an awning or other outdoor entertaining structure such as a gazebo. If you’re looking to get even more creative, you can hang them from tree branches or use the spike and place multiple globes in a hedge, flower bed or along a pathway to make the area more eye-catching.
