Sprinklers frequently asked questions

Which sprinkler is best for my lawn size?

It depends on shape and area. The Oscillating Sprinkler covers up to 50ft by 40ft for rectangular lawns, the Wobble Sprinkler covers up to 400 square feet, the 9-Pattern and Classic Round Sprinklers suit smaller areas up to 20ft, and the Metal Impact Sprinkler reaches up to 100ft.

Which sprinkler works best if I have low water pressure?

The Wobble Sprinkler is designed to perform well even on low water pressure, and it also works well paired with a Retractable Hose Reel. The Oscillating and Metal impact Sprinklers needs stronger pressure to cover its full range, so it isn't the best choice for a low pressure system.

How do I change the spray pattern on my sprinkler?

Oscillating Sprinkler: use the water flow control dial to set your reach, and slide the tabs to adjust the oscillation range. 9-Pattern Sprinkler: rotate the black ring in the middle until your chosen pattern lines up with the hose attachment. The Classic Round Sprinkler doesn't have interchangeable patterns.

Can I attach Hoselink sprinklers to a regular garden hose?

Yes. Attach an Male Hose Connector to the end of your regular hose to join it to the Hoselink system, or remove the Hoselink connector from the sprinkler and screw your hose directly into its brass fitting instead.

What's the difference between a soaker hose and a weeper hose?

A soaker hose releases a fine spray through small holes along its length and works well laid on top of a garden bed. A weeper hose seeps water directly into the soil as it weeps along its length, so it can also be buried under mulch.
