FAQs | Year-round Greenhouse System | US

Q: Does this include the raised garden bed itself?

I'm afraid not. The Year-round Greenhouse System 6 in 1 includes the frame, a mesh cover for spring through fall and a PE cover acts as a greenhouse specifically for the winter months. The Garden beds are sold separately.

Q: Which Configuration will the greenhouse fit?

Garden Bed  Greenhouse System  Configuration
6 in 1 Metal Raised Garden Bed  6 in 1 Greenhouse System
9 in 1 Metal Raised Garden Bed  9 in 1 Greenhouse System

Q: What's the difference between the net cover and the PE cover?

The net cover is a mesh that keeps out birds, insects, and other pests while still letting in air, light, and rain, ideal for spring through fall. The PE (polyethylene) cover works like a mini greenhouse: it traps warmth, protects against frost, snow, and cold winds, and extends your growing season. The greenhouse system gives you both so you can swap covers as the seasons change.

Q: Can I buy just the covers, or do I need the frame?

The frame is the foundation of the system, so every kit includes it. Nothing in the kit is sold seperately.

Q: When should I install it?

Before you fill your bed with soil, anchorthe frame to the bed itself. Installation is much easier (and more secure) on an empty bed. If your bed is already filled, you'll need to clear soil away from the mounting points along the edges.

Q: How do I train plants to climb a trellis in a raised bed?

Start by gently guiding young stems toward the trellis and loosely tying them with soft garden ties, twine, or velcro strips. As the plant grows, continue redirecting new growth. Many plants like peas and beans will eventually self-cling with tendrils.

Q: Will a trellis help with vertical gardening to maximize space in a small bed?

Absolutely. Growing vertically frees up ground space for other crops, improves airflow, reducing disease and making harvesting easier. It's one of the best strategies for small or urban gardens.

Q: Can I still access my plants with the cover on?

Yes, the covers are designed so you can open or roll back sections for watering, harvesting, and ventilation without removing the whole system.

Q: Does the net cover block sunlight or rain?

The mesh allows sunlight, rain, and airflow through, so you can water and your plants can photosynthesize normally while staying protected from pests and birds. Note: The more sunlight the better the sunlight is cut down marginally with the mesh cover.

Q: Will my plants overheat under the PE cover in summer?

The PE cover is intended mainly for cold protection. In warm weather, switch to the net cover or vent the PE cover regularly, a sealed plastic cover in full summer sun can overheat plants.
