Helpful additions to the Retractable Hose Reel Mounting Post

The Retractable Hose Reel Mounting Post is an optional extra mounting solution designed to work with Hoselink's Retractable Reel.
The powder-coated metal post can be located anywhere in the garden and is ideal if you want a Retractable Reel but don't have a wall on which to mount the bracket. Please note that unlike the standard wall bracket, the reel cannot be locked on to the Hose Reel Post with a padlock.
There is a hole on top of the post to hold the hose reel pin in place, allowing the reel to swivel 360° and follow you as you move around the garden.
This product is suitable for use with all Hoselink Retractable Hose Reel sizes.
Installation Advice
The post must be secured in the ground to take the weight of the reel, which can be accomplished with concrete (not supplied). The total post length is 31 inches long and we recommend setting it in at least 12 inches of concrete.
For a secure hold, dig a hole 18 inches deep and 12 inches wide. Fill with gravel for the first 6 inches before setting the Mounting Post on top and filling with concrete, ensuring a concrete depth of 12 inches up the post.
This will require approximately 65lbs of concrete.

This is the best hose I've ever owned. This hose is so good that I bought a second one.
I bought this because I don’t like the idea of wood and my hose. I know, it’s a “me” thing. So, I was pleased when this low profile and sturdy mounting post became available. Install was easy and I’m pleased!
Why did I wait so long to get a Hoselink Retractable Hose? I read the reviews and wondered if it was too good to be true, but they were right! This system saves dragging a heavy hose around the yard, and it really does retract and wind up in seconds. I also love the quick connect, it doesn't leak and it switched out nozzles and sprinklers in a snap.
I plant a lot of annuals that need daily watering. I always fight the hose back and forth across the front of my house, then it is left messy across my manicured lawn and house. Daily coiling it up isn’t for me, but Hoselink solves that problem. Now I can water and put away the cord with one simple tug. Amazing product that makes my life easier. Bravo!!!
The post I purchased is not long enough for cementing the hose link into the ground.
