Description

An environmentally friendly way to water large trees and shrubs by delivering water directly to their roots underground.

The Hoselink Root Waterer & Soil Breaker attaches to your hose via the included Hoselink connector. As you start to depress the pole into the ground, press the trigger to release water. This will help the pole easily go into the ground to water roots.

By watering the roots of plants, you'll avoid wasting water through evaporation and ensure water is delivered directly to the roots.

You can also use this method to break up hard soil, making the removal of weeds or plants much easier.

The Root Water & Soil Breaker comes pre-fitted with a Hoselink Male Hose Connector for a quick and easy connection to your Hoselink fitted hose.

This product comes with a Hoselink connector included for quick connection to your Hoselink-fitted garden hose.  If you are new to Hoselink then you will need to either convert your hose to Hoselink (we recommend the Quick-connect Garden Hose Fittings Set) or you can unscrew the provided connector and attach the Root Waterer directly to your existing hose using the standard threaded end.

I don’t top water plants or shrubs.
The route waterer is perfect. It can be used in so many different ways.
I have always wish that one of the settings on the hose
spray gun was just a normal stream of water and now we’ve got it. Thank you.

great accessory to have

Sturdy and great hose accessory makes it so one doesn't have to stoop over to water and avoid getting the plant wet. Though a star off because when not in use it is awkward to store too bad it doesn't come with a holster.

I love my root waterer/soil breaker as well as my retractable hose reel. They are great quality and shipping was really fast. My root wand was initially bent in shipping and they replaced it immediately after I notified them about it.

I purchased the root waterer to use to water bushes, etc. I don't think I focused at all on the 'soil breaker' part of this. But OH BOY is this awesome for weeding out those long tap rooted weeds that are 10+ years old! We've save a ton of $$ in chiropractic bills! I'm working now on finding a gentle way to use the waterer that will make my tomatoes happy without disturbing the roots. Pretty sure it's possible and now that our dry summer PNW weather has set in, I'm identifying a bunch of applications... hydrangeas, viburnum, dahlias, roses, etc.

Not strong enough water pressure

I don't have a problem with sprinklers or any other products but the dribbling of the water out the root waterer isn't enough.

At first I really did not think I would like this Root Waterer, and man oh man, I do. This is perfect for getting the water deep into the roots of shrubs and trees. I don't use if for my flower in ground or the pots, but I guess you can. It's not heavy, and perfect length for getting the job done. I've had not problems and it goes well with my Hoselink watering system. Love the quick connect process!

Terrible design. The retaining nut doesn’t fit over the aluminum post and you can secure the pieces together.
